Review: Used Rage broadheads for years, always worried about the collar not working right. Although I never had a failure, these just give me peace of mind. I’ve shot 2 deer with these, and they worked great.

Title: No practice tips
Review: I can shoot within a quarter-sized bull’s-eye from 30 yards with a field point. Rage does not have practice tips. I was told by the company that they should fly the same as a field point. I purchased these specifically because they were supposed to fly like a field point since these don’t have a practice head. I had a beautiful broadside on a six-point buck that ended in a gut shot, and I lost my dear. I went through a pack of these just to get my crossbow sighted in. I spent half a day shooting these in the side of a hill so that I wouldn’t feel confident that when I shoot a deer, it’s gonna be a good shot. I purchased these specifically because they’re supposed to fly like a field point. I have a Barnett 400 XP. These shoot about 6 inches low. Both my field points and my Rage Hypodermic NC are 100g. I feel confident now that these will hit exactly where I’m shooting. However, it’s really expensive to use true hunting tips to get your crossbow sited in.

Review: These Rage Hypodermic blades are insane! Easy to install and use. The penetration upon contact is unbelievable! Your prey won’t run anywhere; they drop where they stand! I will never purchase any other blades than these and recommend them to everyone! A little costly but aren’t they all?

Review: I will start by saying that about 3 years ago I swore to never use another Rage Broadhead because the collar system sucks so supremely bad in the BC coastal forests. The no collar feature quelled my complaints, and I’m left with a broadhead that shoots as true as my field tips. These things are nice and sharp; you can get blades for them. They cut great, and if your arrows are made right (like mine are), you get great penetration. I added some photos, and if you look, you can see the line of cut on the block from the blades deployment. Price is okay but almost any good broadhead will run you more or the same price, so no bad points there. Just wish it came with a practice broadhead. Thankfully my experience is the broadheads are durable enough to be tuned and still sharp for hunting. Good job, Rage. I like ’em. WAY easier to tune than my Montec’s.

Review: Easy to use, flies like a field point, crazy sharp, and as a bow hunter, I am incredibly impressed. I just got them and had only used one to take down a buck. These are so good that they will scare you when you first shoot one into a target. I am a believer in Rage Hypodermic NC. I see no point in going back to my fixed blades, none.
