Therefore I was a little skeptical about buying it. Finally decided to, since, well, I really did need it. It came in the other day along with a couple other things I had ordered. When I opened it, I found that mine was rather on the soft side—to begin with. Once I got past the first bit of it and to the main… hunk, I guess you could say, it started working just fine. Sure it is a little soft yet, but it applies to the string easily enough and is easy to work into it. So, all I can say is that if yours comes and is too dry, then just refund and get another one, or try some other brand. It’s not like you’re getting a piece of jewelry here.
