Title: Great safe to keep your guns secure and ready
Review: This is a great safe, fits conveniently in a closet and guns can be quickly accessed when needed. You can use your fingerprint, code, or key to access the safe. It’s light and easy to install. This is a 3-year review and use it all the time. The additional lockbox in the safe is great to secure some cash and other valuables. I would recommend this safe to anyone looking for a place to store your firearms that can be quickly accessed.

Title: Good project as advertised.
Review: Great safe. Delivered in secured packaging with no dents or scratches. Easy to follow instructions on how to set up the code. Plenty of room for storage with the 2 adjustable shelves. I cut a piece of the foam padding it was shipped with and added it to the base of the safe. Also, not in the pictures, I attached some adhesive furniture pads to the bottom of the safe to make it easier to slide on my floors.

Title: Good quality rifle cabinet
Review: Reviewing this as a gun cabinet, not a safe. In the pictures, the door looks much like a heavy safe door, but it’s not. The "box" of the cabinet is sheet metal, as is the door. Arrived in good shape after quick shipping. Instructions are good and 4 lag bolts are included for securing the safe to the floor or wall. However, bear in mind the bolts go through sheet metal that can be defeated by just a moderate amount of force. The programmable lock works fine. The locking bolts on the door also work fine, but again, use the sheet metal edge of the door opening to lock against. A crowbar could be used to defeat the door in just a few minutes. Because the sheet metal tends to "clang" when disturbed, I plan to line mine with peel-and-stick carpet tiles to keep the sound down. Something to think about if you will be using this to quickly and quietly access a firearm for home defense. This cabinet is good for child safety. It will keep young, curious hands off your firearms, but even an amateur burglar could gain access given some time and tools. No fire protection, either. So, as gun cabinets go, this is a good one for its price, but it’s not a safe.

Title: Not a safe but a cabinet
Review: I had high hopes for this "safe" and was let down pretty hard. It arrived and box was already questionable as it had some damage. Not terrible but it was ripped a little. I open it up to find what looks like a pretty in-tac "safe". Then I open the "safe" and notice something glaring right through it….it was the sun!! It has a massive crack on the top seam. This isn’t a safe but a gun cabinet with a heavy door. It also weighs around 50 pounds so picking it up is easy. This wouldn’t last against fire, a fall, or tip over, or even my 5-year-old nephew with a screwdriver. Folks if you want a safe I know it sucks but take it from me, someone who was trying to be cheap, just buy a real safe and if you can’t afford it save even more money and just buy a gun cabinet. Now I have to figure out a way to get it to UPS and return it. Also was asked to package it in its original packing. What a headache. Take it from me and buy a real safe.

Title: Less a safe and more a cabinet, but keeps contents protected from casual access at home
Review: Thinner walls than expected, but I mostly needed it as a lockable cabinet rather than a full-fledged safe, so it serves its purpose. The lock would not relock after being opened, but Quicktec was quick to respond and is replacing the unit as possibly damaged in shipping (something IS loose inside the mechanism so this is likely). All in all, not bad, and very affordable. Update: Received the replacement unit and it works exactly as expected, locking again as normal. The original is confirmed now to be either damaged or defective and was replaced extremely promptly at no cost to myself.

Title: Mostly OK, but a couple of points in the description are wrong..
Review: As others have pointed out, this won’t keep a determined thief from getting your firearms. It’s made a sheet metal… However, it is perfectly adequate for keeping my guns out of the hands of my kids, and that’s the main reason I bought it. Cabinet (Won’t call it a safe) was delivered yesterday, and there was some relatively significant damage to the box, but it’s well-packaged with dense foam on all 6 sides, and corner reinforcement on all 6 corners, and 12 edges so there was no damage to the contents. Contrary to the product description "with Pistol Lockbox" there is no interior lock box, but I was unsurprised by that from looking at the product images. Also, "Exterior Dimensions: 14”(W) x 13.8”(D) x 57”(H)." is incorrect. The cabinet is 14 inches wide, and 57 inches tall, but it’s only 12 inches deep (Exterior). This was a bigger deal, as I was looking for a cabinet with the advertised depth. This is the biggest downcheck for me. As others have pointed out, there is no lining of any sort. The interior is painted sheet metal, and any contact with the walls makes it practically ring like a bell. I’m taking the advice of one of the other reviewers and lining the inside with adhesive carpet squares to both deaden sound and better protect the guns. The bottom of the case is also entirely unpadded. I corrected this by gluing the supplied piece of grey felt cut to fit the bottom of the case to a piece of the dense foam used to protect it during shipment and that serves well to keep the butt of the weapons off the floor. All in all, it will serve my purpose, but it is what it is… a cheap metal locking cabinet that will keep your weapons away from people that shouldn’t have them and aren’t likely to go to extreme means to get their hands on them. The inaccurate depth advertised is my biggest problem with it.
