Review: This is a very well-designed product. It provides simple level one security. With tools and determination, one could easily steal the safe, but it would create quite a mess. I had trouble finding a pair of studs in my house that were correctly spaced or did not have electrical wires. I had to move a piece of interfering stud to make the installation. When pushing the safe into the cutout I accidentally locked the door with the keys inside. I called customer service, and they were extremely polite and helpful. They made sure of my identity before sending the replacement keys for a small fee.

Review: I am really loving this wall mount safe. It fits perfectly between two studs. It is extremely heavy. So make a template out of cardboard to make your measurements and cuts on the wall first. I taped mine to the wall to decide exactly where I wanted to put it first. I had an issue with the third shelf and called customer service, who were caring and amazing! The needed part and shelf were shipped to me immediately. Just remember that when using the key to unlock the safe, you do not need to use it to lock it. It manually locks when you turn the knob. This safe is magnetic, so you could attach heavy-duty magnets to help hold it in place when it is closed.

Title: Rough Opening Size/Beeping Silenced
Review: I read a lot of reviews about measurements of the unit because I wanted to pre-cut the hole before it arrived. None of them mentioned "Rough Opening" size is 14 1/2” x 20”. One thing I don’t like about the Key Pad is the Beeping, it’s WAY too loud and can’t be silenced as per the manual. Manufacturer contacted me back and said there’s no ability to silence. So…. I took the panel apart, stuffed a twist tie inside the speaker hole, and glued a custom cut piece of felt pad to it. You can barely hear the beeps now!

Title: Very pleased.
Review: This is a very well-constructed safe. My handyman had to shave off a little bit of my studs. Once he figured out why it wouldn’t go in (because of a nail hiding under the insulation), he managed perfectly. I am very pleased with it. It hides perfectly behind a picture; although, it can be a little hard to open the door because there is not much to grab onto, but I have small hands. Putting a strong magnet on the door helps to pull it open.
