Review: When the latch unlocks it makes a loud metallic noise kind of like ringing a bell.The 2nd downer is that in order to close it back up, you have to slam it down. the latch won’t lock otherwise.Customer service was great and will work with you if you have received a safe with these symptoms.

Title: safe it terrible does not work right
Review: the safe does not work right set fingerprint in only my one thumb and yes it opened the safe but so does my daughters finger and my husband and my son in law without and of their fingers set in the safe so your safe does me no good anyone can open it it is terrible and i tried deleting the fingerprint like directions tells to do will not delete anyone can still open safe Pat Japart

Title: It Works Pretty Good But I Experienced Some Issues
Review: I do believe this safe is a quality, well made product. But having said that I must pass along some issues I experienced to others as they may experience the same things. I want to be helpful to those that may be contemplating to purchase this product.First I installed the batteries as instructed and the power graph lit up to only two bars. I thought maybe I received batteries that were weak to begin with so I used batteries of my own instead. Again the power graph only showed two bars, so I’m thinking perhaps there’s a flaw in the graph that can’t depict full power for whatever reason. Hopefully I won’t have to replace the batteries any time soon seeing that they’re brand new.Next I tried to set the time following the directions which again are very clear. Unfortunately the time would not set. I tried over and over and it would not work. My wife also tried to set the time but without success. All I can say it good luck trying to set the time and I hope you can do it. Overall this is not a significant issue because I don’t really see the need for the time to be set in the first place.After trying to set the time I moved on to set up the fingerprint registration following the instructions. I succeeded without any real problem. Later on I moved the safe to a location where I could use the steel cable and attach it to the leg of a thick piece of furniture and slide it underneath that piece of furniture for security purposes. This process was easy to do and I give kudos to the manufacturer’s design for this security feature. Anyway, after putting the safe in this new secure location I tried to open it again using my fingerprint and it would not open. I tried many times and it would not work. Finally I performed the fingerprint registration process again and it worked to open the safe. It’s been fine ever since but it makes me wonder about it’s reliability. Will it open?…or will it not open?I then proceeded to set up the password and this process worked just fine.This safe seems to be quite durable and portable and I like the overall look. I believe it would be difficult for any thief to break into. Using a USB-C connection and cable for emergency power if needed is also a nice feature.Bottom line make sure you keep the keys in a safe place and don’t lose them so you can get into the safe in case something goes wrong with your fingerprint registration and/or the password process.
